At the Cappelli Organization, we believe that great spaces are shaped by vision, creativity, and thoughtful design. Those same principles are reflected in the artwork that fills our headquarters, where more than 50 museum-quality paintings from the private collection of Mark Deutsch create an inspiring environment for our team and visitors alike.
In this exclusive conversation, Louis Cappelli and Mark Deutsch discuss the role art has played in both of their professional journeys. As founder of Mark Deutsch Fine Art, Mark has assembled an exceptional collection of Post-War Abstract Expressionist and Color Field works by renowned artists including Helen Frankenthaler, Robert Motherwell, Sam Francis, Richard Diebenkorn, Larry Poons, Emily Mason, Friedel Dzubas, Jules Olitski, Vivian Springford, Kikuo Saito, and others. Throughout the video, Mark shares his passion for collecting, while Louis reflects on how Mark introduced him to the world of fine art and how that appreciation has become part of the culture of our organization.
While widely recognized for his distinguished art collection, Mark is also the founder of Deutsch Capital, a private equity firm established in 2017. With more than 35 years of experience as a private equity investor, Mark has partnered with entrepreneurial management teams to provide the capital, resources, and strategic guidance needed to support long-term growth. His appreciation for vision, innovation, and lasting value extends across both his investment philosophy and his approach to collecting art.
Together, Mark and Louis explore the meaningful connection between art, architecture, and development, and how thoughtfully curated spaces can inspire creativity, collaboration, and innovation. We invite you to watch the conversation and discover why art has become an integral part of the Cappelli Organization’s workplace and culture.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY (April 2026)) – Cappelli Organization Managing Member/Founder Louis R. Cappelli joined with New Rochelle Mayor Yadira Ramos-Herbert, State Senator Nathalia Fernandez, State Senator Shelley Mayer and other City and County officials on April 6 to celebrate the Grand Opening of PickleRage, a new indoor pickleball facility in the heart of downtown New Rochelle. Also, joining the celebration were PickleRage franchise operators Henry Sztul and Brian Snyder and New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Catherine White.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to see this once-vacant space transition from its roots as a health club into the high-energy destination that is PickleRage. With the surge of new residents moving into the luxury apartment towers here in downtown New Rochelle, this is undoubtedly the perfect tenant in the perfect location at the perfect time. We are thrilled to bring such a dynamic and exciting recreational experience to the heart of this vibrant community,” said Cappelli.
“The opening of PickleRage is exactly the kind of exciting, community-driven business that makes New Rochelle’s downtown a destination. An indoor pickleball facility brings year-round energy, activity, and neighbors together. This is precisely what we envisioned when we created our Tenant Improvement Program of which PickleRage was a recipient. This business is a shining example of that investment paying off, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome them to our great city. Come play,” said Mayor Ramos-Herbert!
“We’re delighted to be a part of New Rochelle’s continued downtown growth and bring our passion for pickleball to Westchester,” said Sztul. “Pickleball provides a really great way to stay active and meet people,” said Snyder.
Located at 173 Huguenot Street, the 42,000-square-foot facility is in a building owned and developed by the Cappelli Organization. This is the first PickleRage facility in Westchester County and the first in New York State.
PickleRage features 13 regulation-size courts with CushionX surfaces, LED lighting, locker rooms with showers, and video recording and livestreaming capabilities. Additional amenities include a player’s lounge, and a pro shop with retail displays, a gear fitting area, and demo equipment. The courts feature bright overhead lighting, high-performance non-skid surfaces, and optimized temperature and humidity controls for ideal playing conditions. In addition to pickleball, the facility also offers three Full Swing golf simulators.
The facility offers a variety of promotional membership packages in connection with the opening ranging from $79 for a pro monthly membership to $3,880 for an annual elite family membership. For more information about membership visit https://pickleragenewrochelle.com
